Ganesh Magenthiran (GM) is the Lead Partner of the Construction and Arbitration practice group of HAA. He holds a bachelor of Laws (Hons) degree and a Master of Law Degree from National University of Malaysia.
GM was admitted as an advocate and solicitors of the High Court of Malaya in 2011, and he has since worked jointly with many well-known, respected and experienced counsel within HAA and as well as from other legal firms. Thereafter, he has personally handled many other highly critical and complex legal disputes and cases right from the High Court to the Federal Court, during which GM, with the confidence and trust of his many esteemed clients, has gained valuable legal knowledge. Most importantly, he had the opportunity to not only develop his legal knowledge but also the approach that each fact of the case must be critically analysed before determining how such critical or complex facts can be justified not only from a logical point of view but also with the established legal principles and authorities.
GM has 10 to 12 years of experience handling cases in various legal disciplines, such as construction, infrastructure, and telecommunications, general contract disputes, probate and administration, corporate and cases involving or within the purview of Malaysian Company Laws, and various proceedings to enforce or execute court judgements and orders, however, he believes that there is a lot more to learn, improve, and develop, especially as GM acknowledges that the facts of each case may pose new challenges and legal questions that GM desires to study and explore and, if necessary, contribute as much of his time, knowledge, and effort to reform legal principles that better suit the present situation.
GM believes that an abundance of knowledge is what truly guarantees long-term and sustainable success.
